Tehran to host 5th Int'l Orientation Course on Islamic Capital Markets

A senior official at Iran's Bourse Organization said here that the 5th International Orientation Course on Islamic Capital Markets is to be held in the Iranian capital on Sunday with participation of scholars from 18 world countries.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Ali Saeedi, deputy executive director of Iran's Bourse Organization, said over 30 economic experts and think tanks from 18 world states are to take part in Tehran international gathering. 

He said the three-day gathering will be held with cooperation of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB). 

The workshop is held annually with the objective of reviewing stability in the Islamic markets, said Saeedi adding the event will also discuss achievements in Iran's capital markets. 

The participating countries include Iran, Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Egypt, India, Turkey, Pakistan, Bosnia, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Sudan, Nigeria, the Maldives, Uganda and Zambia.
