MASHHAD, Iran (Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The Assistant Director of Astan Quds Razavi Museums' Affairs declared that more than 162 thousand people visited Astan Quds Razavi Museums during Nowruz holidays.
According to the reports issued by Astan Quds Razavi, Mohsen Amirinia added: The number of visitations increased around 25% compared with last year’s Nowruz holidays.
He continued: The price of tickets of Astan Quds Razavi Museums does not change during recent years, and 50% discount is considered for visitation of the crippled, self-sacrifices, those groups introduced by organization, governmental or non-governmental offices, etc.
Amirinia stated: visitation of all museums of Astan Quds Razavi are free for members of Imam Khomeini Relief committee and people who are under support of Welfare Organization.
About the work time of Astan Quds Razavi Museums during Nowruz Holidays, he asserted: Because of the high population of pilgrims during Nowruz holidays in Razavi Holy Shrine, Astan Quds Razavi Museums extended the work time for 20 days and offered a wide range of services to the enthusiasts and visitors.
He added: After glorious victory of Islamic Revolution, great changes took place in Astan Quds Razavi Museums and these cultural centers and show spaces developed so that we face with considerably growth, and during these years 16 special treasures were established.
