(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - As many as 19 innocent Shiites were taken into custody by cops of the rangers in nightlong raids in district central of Karachi.The Pakistani rangers stormed into Jafaria Colony in Gulbahar, a Shia majority locality and raided several houses. They arrested 19 Shia youths from their houses.It is relevant to add here that Inspector General of Sindh Police himself said on record that rangers arrest people without proof or evidence and finally the court acquit those arrested by the rangers. However, rangers have not abandoned the malpractice.The arrest of innocent Shiites are made to please the notorious terrorist group of Lashkar-e-Jhangvi who has been renamed as Ahl-e-Sunnat wal Jamaat.Law enforcement agencies have a long practice of “balance” whenever they have to arrest the notorious terrorists of Lashkar-e-Jhangvi. Since Malik Ishaq of the group was arrested, raids are conducted in Karachi to balance that arrest. Shia Muslims have condemned the policy of equating the innocent, peaceful and law-abiding Shiites with the terrorist group involved in Shia genocide./129
