Hundreds of Thousands of Bahrainis Participate in Massive Pro-Democracy March "Call of the Homeland" / Photos

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The supreme organizing committee for yesterday's massive march announced that huge numbers of people participated in the massive pro-democracy march "Call of the Homeland", refusing decades of dictatorship and tyranny. The supreme committee estimates the total number of yesterday's protesters with more than 280,000 Bahraini citizens.

All religious, political and different ethnics took part in today's huge march over its route of four kilometers long; which started from Shakhoora Roundabout to Duraz Roundabout, at the west of the Bahraini capital, Manama.

Protesters raised many banners with pro-democracy and counter dictatorship slogans, demanding a serious democratic transition in Bahrain.
