Pakistani minister, Firdous Ashiq Awan, attending the 26th International Islamic Unity conference in Tehran has said "If Muslims get together, nobody can defeat them."

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - "If Muslims fight sectarianism under the name of Islam, nobody can defeat us," Pakistani Federal Minister for National Regulations and Services, Firdous Ashiq Awan, said.

She said that the conference is aimed at two philosophies: The holy prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and Ahlulbayt (the household of the holy prophet)

She also said Muslims should be united, collaborate and support each other, adding that "Muslims have to get together for the common cause of ummah.

The Pakistani minister touched upon terrorism and religious extremism as the greatest phenomena in today's world.

She said she came to Tehran to relay the message sent by Pakistani prime minister Raja Pervez Ashraf and President Asef Ali Zardari who expressed the best wishes for the conference.
