Amid wide public participation, a nationwide prayer was performed on Friday in Syrian mosques to pray to God to restore security and stability to the homeland.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Mosque preachers and imams stressed, in their Friday sermons, that the awareness of the Syrian people and their unity will foil the conspiracy, expressing trust that Syria will return as it was, an oasis of security and stability.

They added that Syria is the target of a war launched by Israel which mobilized for it the issuers of the fatwas of killing and terrorism, who embrace the takfiri Wahhabi thought, indicating that the acts of killing and vandalism are the literal embodiment of this war and conspiracy.

The preachers said that Syria has always been famous for the coherence, amity and concord among its people, especially in times of crises, praying to God to answer the prayers of the believers and end the plight of the Syrian people.

Al-Bouti: We will Remain Undivided by Differences

Chairman of the Levant Scholars' Union, Dr. Mohammad Said Ramadan al-Bouti prayed to God to bring back security and stability to Syria and purify the homeland of its enemies, stressing that the Syrian people will remain undivided and will ever cling to national unity.

In his Friday sermon, al-Bouti said that the problems plaguing Muslim societies are many and varied, of which the crisis in Syria is but an example, adding that amity in the Muslim societies is the sole solution to such problems, no matter where they come from.

Following the 'Need Prayer' held in the Syrian Mosques that the Ministry of Awqaf called for, al-Bouti prayed to God to save Syria and end the suffering of the Syrian people.
