(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - According to the director general of public libraries in Ardebil Province, this is the first library of its kind to be established in Iran with special focus on the most famous collection of sermons, letters, Quranic exegeses and narrations attributed to Imam Ali, cousin and son-in-law of Prophet Muhammad.
As he said, the center is established by assistance from the Nahjolbalagheh Scientific Foundation.
He went on to say that the library welcomes everyone interested in the book from all age groups and social strata that may enjoy the digital material accumulated in the library. The center is home to a wide range of subjects and books about Nahjolbalagheh.
The Nahjolbalagheh Foundation sponsors various courses for understanding the principles and teachings of the book for all levels of interested applicants in Ardebil.
The library will be inaugurated on November 8 in the presence of the officials of the foundation, Ardebil governor, and the city’s Friday Prayer leader.
Nahjolbalagheh was collected by Sharif Razi, a Shi'i scholar in the tenth century[1] Known for its eloquent content, it is considered a masterpiece of literature in Shi'a Islam, second only to the Qur'an and Prophetic narrations.
