(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Iranian Islamic unity center announced it is going to mark the first World Muhammad (PBUH) Day calling Muslims across the world to join the initiation.
Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought attending the 22nd anniversary of the center announced the day in Islamic Unity Week is going to be marked as the World Mohammad (PBUH) Day across the world.
Prominent religious figure said the plans for the new era of proximity among Muslims will begin in the upcoming Islamic Unity conference, held during Islamic Unity Week.
He called Muslims across the world to join the initiation by Iranian Muslim unity center and said, “The World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought will mark the Friday in Islamic Unity Week as the World Muhammad (PBUH) Day.”
As of the details on the new event, Ayatollah Araki said,” We invite all Muslims to mark the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) by wearing special clothes and the badge for unified Islamic nation.” adding that the details for that to be announced in future.
He noted,” The birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) is the birth anniversary for a wise, just abstemious man.”
World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought hosts annual Islamic Unity Conference held during Islamic Unity Week.
At the initiation of the late founder of Islamic Revolution, the week in Rabi’ al Awwal ending with the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), 17th of Rabi’ al Awwal , is dubbed as Islamic Unity Week to boost the unity among different Islamic denominations.
