(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Senator Col(R) Syed Tahir Hussain Mashˈhadi of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) said that a conspiracy is being hatched to divide Muslim Uammah.
He said that there is no other view to that the US policy especially on Middle East and Asia needs to be changed.
“The arrogant foreign policy of the US is increasing hatred against the country in oppressed nations of the world,” said the lawmaker.
The political leader was of the view that it would be in the interest of the US to review its foreign policy and arrogant attitude.
“They have created groups in the Muslim world and are backing extremists in the world,” said Tahir Hussain Mashˈhadi.
The Senator expressing his opinion said that despite propaganda they (US) have failed to spoil the peaceful image of Iran. “The bashing of Iran by the US is unjustified and very bad for the peace in the region,” noted the Parliamentarian.
The politician said Iran has proved to be a perfect neighbor which has best of relationships with all of its neighboring states. “What is the objective of the anti-Iran campaign? Perhaps they to divide Muslim Ummah,” he opined.
Tahir Hussain Mashˈhadi warned that they want to create a wedge between Shiˈa and Sunni Muslims which the Muslims have to thwart with unity.
The MQM leader strongly believed that Iran can play and has been playing an important role for resolving the crisis in Syria. “Without taking Iran on-board you cannot find a peaceful solution to the issue of Syria,” he pointed out.
He also said that the people of Syria must be made part of any solution to the crisis in the Arab state. He added that sovereignty and independence of Syria must be respected in any case.
“US has no right to export so called revolution into Syria like Libya,” the Senate member said.
Tahir Hussain Mashˈhadi said that Iran, despite sanctions has been progressing in all fields and has become self sufficient in all sectors.
“Sanctions are counterproductive against Iran and they have been increasing hatred against the US,” he added. “Sanctions must be lifted immediately,” he said.
The politician said that dialogue between Iran and 5+1 group must continue over Iran’s peaceful nuclear program. “Confrontation is not the solution of any issue,” noted the lawmaker.
