(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - A Quran educational course called “Safeer” (the messenger) kicked off on September 17, is underway in the holy city of Kufa.
According to biladnews website, some 12 students of Kufa University's different faculties are attending the program.
Organized by the custodianship of Kufa Mosque, it will be held with the aim of furthering the culture of memorizing the Holy Quran.
The participants will memorize the entire Holy Quran by heart within two years.
The 9th edition of “Imam Kazem (AS)” course on Tajweed and recitation principles is also among the programs underway for women.
“Fatima Tahira (SA)” is the title of another Quranic course for women which is underway at the mosque under the supervision of Women Comittee affiliated to the Holy Quran Section.
