Uganda’s foreign minister, with mentioning the magnificent of holding the ministerial summit in Tehran, stated: ” America's efforts to infiltrate the summit were ineffectual.
In an interview, on the sidelines of the ministerial meetings of the NAM summit, Asumun Kiyingi restated: “we should do our best to enhance solidarity among NAM members in order to frustrate efforts of America in infiltrating inside NAM and many efforts were made to reduce the participation of countries in the summit; but, It is so important that we and our friends are all here to participate in the summit.
Hon Asumun Kiyingi appreciated the planning and holding of the summit by Iran and stated: “The hospitality and good planning of the meeting should be mentioned and appreciated”.
