Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla said peace, international relations and independence of nations will be among the top issues to be discussed during the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) summit in Tehran.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Parrilla stated that world serenity, international bonds and sovereignty of nations are among important issues to be discussed.

Parrilla also stressed the summit's significance in international equations and termed it a very sensitive event.

He said that the 16th NAM meeting in Tehran is very sensitive and Iran has a great responsibility in holding such a meeting.

The Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla further underlined Iran's responsibility in hosting the Non-Aligned Movement summit and asserted that that Iran's responsibility in hosting the meeting is very sensitive.

He added that the meeting faces with many different issues on which the participants will discuss and exchange views.

The 16th NAM heads-of-state summit is being held in the Iranian capital, Tehran, this Thursday and Friday.

The NAM's experts meeting kicked off work in the Iranian capital on Sunday and was followed by the foreign ministers' meeting on Tuesday and Wednesday before the two-day summit.
