(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The former inspector of IAEA said: “NAM summit has great effects on improving global peace. NAM members can assist each other to improve peaceful nuclear technologies and take Iran’s peaceful nuclear developments into consideration.”Regarding the assassinations of Iranian scientists, the former IAEA inspector told NAM news agency: “I have heard about these assassinations before coming to Tehran". Abushadi added: “I just felt so sad about such aggressions against such top scientists; but, I know that Iran has many good scientists, so their nuclear program would not be stopped by assassinating two or three nuclear scientists. These events indicate that how such crimes are being done against Iranians and their scientists, and I hope really that the Iranian would take good care of their scientists in the future.”He condemned Israel and U.S supports of these assassinations and continued: “Every country considers its own interests, and now you are witnessing a kind of new terror operated against Iran. Israel is actually threatening Iran, I never believe that they would do such a wrong move, Iran is much stronger now, and Israel by even trying to hurt Iran actually gives the chance to Tehran to have the reason to withdraw from NPT and follow its own program, without any inspections, without transparency; and of course Iran has a lot of strong guards in the area and the region, so I believe they would not attack Iran, it’s just a media propaganda.”Abushadi said: “The main issue for me is the success of the meeting, you now, about 120 countries will attend the meeting, it’s quite something especial which happens every three years, and I also believe that it’s an extraordinary event for Iran that such huge number of states, two third of the world, are present in Iran, and it is a kind of a good reply to some western countries that their governments are considering wrong and aggressive standpoints against Iran.”On the differences of NAM members and their unity, he argued that it is natural for 120 countries to have different opinions, but there are also some commonalities, which lead to the development of these countries without any support by major powers. A better cooperation of NAM members is felt these days, and I think this will be fulfilled via proposed economic plans.”He also concluded that IAEA is under severe political pressures and emphasized the need to establish a regional organization which can confront with the interference of arrogant countries as well as sending inspectors for a clear and assured monitoring of the nuclear technologies./129
