Shia Cleric: Zionism is intimidated by Iran’s power

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - “The regime of Zionism is intimidated by the impressive effects of the 16th summit of Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) in the region,”  Islamic scholar, Ayatollah Roohollah Qarehi said.The senior scholar pointed to the spurious claims of the regime of Zionism and underscored that all the plots hatched by this regime has been foiled and Israel’s attempts for isolating Iran in the region faced a fiasco.Ayatollah Qarehi pointed to the spread of Islamic Awakening in the region and said all the recent movements in the region derived from the Islamic revolution of Iran.“The achievements of Islamic Revolution of Iran in the various arenas are literally conspicuous and countries’ officials are cognizant of such facts,” said the Islamic scholar.The Islamic scholar underlined that the regime of Zionism did its best to eschew officials not to take part in the Summit.Ayatollah Roohollah Qarehi underscored,” but taking the cognizance of Iran’s obviously enough progress neutralized such machination. “More than 100 countries are partaking in the NAM summit that kicked off in Tehran on Sunday and is scheduled to end on August 31.It is worth to noting that NAM, an international organization with 120 member states, is considered as not formally aligned with or against any major power bloc. /129
