(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The meeting of NAM experts will be underway at the International Conference Hall of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Broadcasting for two days (August 26-27).
The NAM Deputies Foreign Ministers and senior experts will draw up the 16th NAM Summit agenda.
The NAM Foreign Ministers’ Meeting too will be held for two days from August 27-28 with the NAM Summit slated for August 29-30.
The UN Chief and representatives of nearly 150 countries as well as special guests and envoys of international organizations will be present at the meeting.
According to organizers of the meeting, participation of close to 51 presidents, prime ministers, kings and senior delegates is definite.
NAM is an international organization of states considering themselves not formally aligned with or against any major power bloc. NAM is the largest grouping of countries outside of the United Nations.
NAM member states represent nearly two-thirds of the United Nations' members and comprise 55% of the world population, particularly countries considered to be developing or part of the Third World.
NAM is comprised of some 120 member states and 17 observer countries.
