Quran Recitation Contest Held in Turkey

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - A provincial Quran recitation contest was held in Turkey on May 29 at Noshahir Cultural Art Center.The contest was organized on the occasion of “Week of Mosques” in Turkey by the country’s Organization of Religious Affairs.Ya’qub Ozturk, religious scholar of Noshahir city said that a number of top Quran reciters from eight provinces of the country competed with the each other and were judged by a jury panel.The first-place winner of the event will make it to the national stage of the contest. /129
