Quran Contest for Children in Russia

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - A Quran contest was held yesterday, May 20, for children in Chelyabinsk Province, Russia.Chebarqul Mosque of the region hosted the competitions.Vugar Akbarov, Mufti of the province said that girls and boys under the age of 10 from Ural Federal District participated in the contest.The participants competed on recitation and memorization of the Holy Quran and answered questions posed by the jury panel on Quranic issues.The competitions were also broadcast live by the website of the mosque. /129
