Plans are underway for opening three new mosques for Pakistani Shia Muslims in three regions of the State of Punjab by Khair-ul-A'mal Charity Institute of the country in cooperation with Kuwait's Imam Hussein (AS) Mourning Hey'at (literally meaning group or delegation).

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The mosques are to be set up in Khushab, Muzaffargarh and Rajanpur districts of Punjab.

It is reported that the construction project of the mosques will conclude within two weeks and they will host Shia Muslims of the regions in early June.

The main mission of the Institute is identifying underprivileged Shia regions of the country and constructing mosques in the regions in cooperation with charitable groups.

The mosques are built with modern architectural designs as well as residences for imam of mosques.
