"Israeli" Minister of "Defense" Ehud Barak, stated that "the reports received on Iran, and specifically on Iran's nuclear program, clearly show to all intelligence agencies in the free world that our claims are true."

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - "Israeli" Minister of "Defense" Ehud Barak, stated that "the reports received on Iran, and specifically on Iran's nuclear program, clearly show to all intelligence agencies in the free world that our claims are true."

"The Iranians are continuing their nuclear program to acquire nuclear weapons," he added. "The countries that are negotiating with Iran must put conditions on Tehran that shall be sufficient had Iran accepted to stop its nuclear program," Barak said to our station.

Barak believes that Iran would not comply with all the European conditions because had it done so, it won't be able to continue its progress towards a nuclear weapon. In this case, negotiations will be useless. "So we've made it clear to our colleagues in the free nations, and China -though that's a difficult task- that all uranium enrichment must be stopped; not only the 20% should be taken outside the borders of Iran, but the enrichment of 3, 5% must be halted and exported as well. That way Iran won't be able at any moment to achieve its goal and obtain a nuclear weapon."

On the Government of National Unity and the entry of the "Kadima's" President Shaul Mofaz to the government, and linking this event to launching an "Israeli" military strike on Iran, Barak said that "Israel" has a big responsibility, and always did, to do whatever can be done.

"But we have to differentiate between the internal policy, our relations with the United States and the decision itself. We must listen to everyone, discuss the topics and hear all points of view," he concluded.
