(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - He said the incident was a disgraceful attempt by the American occupying forces in Afghanistan, adding that it created a wave of protests in Afghanistan and other parts of the world, Al-Alam news network reported.
Head of the Palestinian Islamic Council in Lebanon added that the world arrogance and above all the United States hold strong hatred toward Muslims and seek to distance Muslims from the Quran.
Referring to Obama’s apology over the incident, he regarded Obama and other US officials as liars and hypocrites who secretly order conducting such abominable acts and then attempt to deceive Muslims.
He went on to say that Arab leaders who have kept silent over the desecration of the Quran are conspiring with the oppressive leaders of the US and Europe to take revenge on Muslims.
