(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Quran is in every detail the unique and miraculous text which was revealed by God to the Prophet Muhammad and not a single word of the divine book has been changed over the centuries. Being the last revealed words of God, Quran, is the prime source of every Muslim’s faith and practice.
Engr. Z.A. Nizami, Chancellor Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology was speaking at the ceremony held to inaugurate ‘Jahan-e-Hamd Quran Number’, compiled and edited by Taher Sultani.
Speaking to the audience on the occasion Mr Nizami said Islam means complete submission to the will of God. Based on modern doctrines, Islam is both a religion and a complete way of life and it deals with all subjects like civil rights, laws of marriage and divorce, laws of inheritance, code of behavior etc.
Chancellor Z.A. Nizami pointed out that book is a very effective and strong medium to preserve and transfer information and knowledge in documented form. Jahan-e-Hamd Quran Number is a unique document of numerous qualities that offers you an opportunity to understand the knowledge of Holy Quran with different angles.
“Sir Syed University is the only engineering university where Pakistan Studies and Islamiat are the compulsory subjects and efforts are being made to computerize all information and material pertaining to the religion of Islam,” Mr Nizami added.
Noted writer and critic Professor Ali Haider Malik said Holy Quran is preserved in the heart of millions of people in the world it is indeed a true blessing that the Muslims all over the world recite daily the words revealed by Allah.
