10-year old Ibrahim al-Mabrouk was martyred and a number of citizens and law enforcement members were injured on Friday as a result of an explosive device blast and shooting by an armed terrorist groups in al-Qa'eh neighborhood in al-Midan in Damascus.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - 10-year old Ibrahim al-Mabrouk was martyred and a number of citizens and law enforcement members were injured on Friday as a result of an explosive device blast and shooting by an armed terrorist groups in al-Qa'eh neighborhood in al-Midan in Damascus.

An official source told SANA correspondent that the armed terrorist group remotely detonated the explosive device and opened fire randomly, killing the child Ibrahim and injuring 11 civilians and law enforcement members.

Ibrahim's father said that his son was out to buy bread when he was killed.

Imam of Hasan Bin Malek Mosque, sheikh Ahmad Sadek, said "this crime is what Yousef al-Qaradawi and his ilk are calling for along with those who sit abroad and provide support to those who murder our innocent people and children."

Abdel Mune'm Kweis, one of the locals, said that the hooded terrorists opened fire on citizens and law-enforcement personnel in all directions after detonating the explosive devices, then fled the scene.

In the presence of a delegation from the Arab League observer mission, one of the injured law-enforcement personnel  said that the hooded terrorists detonated the explosive device while crying out for freedom, wondering what freedom are they demanding when they're murdering their countrymen.

In turn, one of the injured locals said that he had left Abdel Rahman Mosque after Friday prayers and the explosion when the explosion happened, injuring him, and that other locals rushed him to the hospital.

Meanwhile in Qatana city in Damascus Countryside, a number of civilians and members of law enforcement forces were wounded two explosive devices, planted by terrorist groups, exploded in one of the city's streets. 

Law Enforcement Member Martyred by Terrorists in Homs

A law enforcement member was shot dead by members of an armed terrorist gang in al-Midan neighborhood in the central province of Homs.

An informed source in the province told SANA correspondent that an armed terrorist gang fired on Adnan Ibrahim of the law enforcement forces near the cultural center in al-Midan neighborhood in Homs, causing his immediate death and the injury of four citizens who are Amin Tabba', Bilal Faisal, Yamen Kurdi and Obada Sharafo. The wounded were taken to the hospital of charity and social services.

Ten Citizens Injured by Mortar Rounds Fired by Terrorist Group, Mother and Child Gunned Down by Terrorists in Homs

SANA's correspondent in Homs reported that ten citizens were injured when an armed terrorist group fired mortar rounds at al-Nuzha neighborhood in Homs, targeting the roundabout in that area.

The correspondent also said that a mother and her 14 year-old son were martyred when terrorists began shooting in Tarik al-Sham neighborhood in Homs.

Five bodies mutilated by terrorist groups were also found in al-Insha'at neighborhood in Homs.

3 Civilians, 3 Law Enforcement Members Injured in Explosive Device Blast in Deir Ezzor

In the northeastern province of Deir Ezzor, 6 civilians and law enforcement members were injured in a blast of an explosive device planted by terrorists in Baghdad Street in the city of Bukamal.

SANA correspondent quoted an official source in Deir Ezzor as saying that the injured, three civilians and three law enforcement members, were taken to al-Bassel Hospital in the city to receive the necessary treatment.

2 Law Enforcement Members Injured in Terrorist Bombing in Idleb

Two members of law enforcement forces were wounded in a terrorist bombing carried out by a terrorist on Idleb-Bannish road.

An official source told SANA correspondent that a suicide bomber exploded himself at a law enforcement forces checkpoint, wounding a warrant officer and a member.

House of Lebanese al-Jadeed TV's Correspondent in Jabal al-Zawia Burned by Terrorists

An armed terrorist group in the northern province of Idleb set to fir house of Lebanese al-Jadeed (NTV) TV's correspondent Nidal Hmeidi in al-Maghareh village in Jabal al-Zawia.

Journalist Hmeidi told SANA correspondent in the province that there were only material damages, noting that he had already received many threats by terrorist groups before his house was completely burned by them.

He considered that the armed groups want him to devote his media coverage of the events in Syria to their service.

In mid July, armed terrorist groups burned the house of journalist Ali Jamalo in Deir al-Zughub in Idleb.

A number of media and cultural centers in a number of provinces were burned and vandalized by terrorists. Media cadres were also targeted by armed gangs including journalist Shukri Abu al-Burghul who was attacked in his house in Daraiya city in Damascus Countryside.

On January 11, 2012, a foreign media delegation was attacked in Homs, and French journalist Gilles Jacquier, who worked for France 2 Television, was killed.
