According to the Miras Maktoub (written heritage) Research Center, the association invites all interested researchers to submit their articles to the secretariat of the conference on Islamic manuscripts, codicology, and conservation as well as management of manuscript collections.
Submitted abstracts are needed to address the conference themes: science of manuscripts and scientific manuscripts. Papers about manuscript materials like inks, colors, paper kinds, size and the like can be categorized as addressing the former theme. Examination of scientific manuscripts, cataloguing manuscripts and lessons learned from manuscript contents should address the latter theme.
Moreover, the conference addresses the four main concerns of the association, which are cataloguing, conservation, digitization and academic publishing of Islamic manuscripts.
The papers should not exceed 25 pages and can be tendered in English or Arabic.
Interested researchers may submit their at-most-250-word abstracts to the association's address on
