"Flower of Alqamah" is the name of the book by Mohammad Motahar on birth, life and martyrdom of Hazrat Abbas (AS), half brother of Imam Hussein (AS) who was martyred on ninth of Muharram.More than ۱۳۳ points on the life of this great hero in the Battle of Karbala (۶۸۰ AD) are collected in this book. The book starts with marriage of Imam Ali (AS), father of Hazrat Abolfazl (AS), to his nicknames, lifestyle, his great sacrifices in the Battle of Karbala and also some poems on the high status of the half brother to Imam Hussein (AS). Hazrat Abolfazl Abbas (AS) was the son of Imam Ali (AS), the greatest companion and half brother to Imam Hussein (AS). The symbol of a true brother among Muslims, his martyrdom is commemorated on Tasua, ۹th of Muharram.
