(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Member of the scientific board of Comparative Jurisprudence Encyclopedia announced that "Al-Mizan Interpretation" of the Quran was translated into Turkish language.
Hojat-ol-Islam Seyyed Abbas Seyyed Karimi, who has been dispatched on behalf of Seminary School to Turkey, talked about the achievements of the trip saying that there are lots of opportunities for religious dissemination in Turkey, taking into account the presence of 25 million Alawis, 6 million Shia Muslims and some 30 million tourists annually visiting th country.
The Iranian delegation visited Marmara University and attended a meeting with Imam of Allah-o-Akbar Mosque.
"The university, as a great academic center in Turkey lacks Shia sources, the reason for which the officials of the university welcomed Iran's offering of valuable sources in this respect," he said.
Seyyed Karimi also noted that a new center called “Zeynabiyyah” is being constructed on a 30 thousand square meter site in Ankara for Shia Muslims of the region.
He went on to say that a group of non-Iranian seminaries, in cooperation with Al-Mustafa International University, set up “Kawthar” Institute tasked with the translation of Islamic books.
Al-Mizan Interpretation of the holy Quran is one of the 50 books translated by a number of Turkish seminarians at the center.
