(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Bahraini authorities have released the medical personnel who were arrested for treating injured anti-government protesters, but they are still accused of anti-state conspiracy. The military court ordered their release on Wednesday as their hunger strike to protest against their detentions entered its ninth day, Bahraini human rights activist Maryam al-Khawaja wrote in an e-mail to Press TV. Anti-state charges against them have not yet been dropped and the military court is expected to announce ruling on September 29, which means they could be re-arrested. Their release came after doctors from Ireland, the UK, the US, and France announced that they will also start a 24-hour hunger strike to express solidarity with detained Bahraini medics. According to Nabeel Rajab, the head of the Bahraini Center for Human Rights, hundreds of anti-government detainees have joined the strike and that the number of prisoners on hunger strike has passed 200.
