(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - His Eminence, Sayyed Ali Fadlullah, emphasized that China could act as a source of safety and an element of balance in international relations, via its composed diplomacy that rejects the method of hegemony for treating the peoples of the region. He also called on the Muslims throughout the world to enhance their relations with China, calling on China to respect the freedom of the minorities, especially the Muslim minority.
His Eminence received the Chinese Ambassador to Lebanon, Wu Zexian, who paid the Sayyed a visit on the head of a delegation from the Chinese Embassy, and they went through the Chinese – Lebanese relations, as well as the general situation in the region and the Chinese stand towards it.
During the meeting, Sayyed Ali Fadlullah said: We feel that what China presented via its non-aggressive diplomacy that has always rejected to step into the circle of hegemony and arrogance adopted by several western states… we feel that this represents a successful exemplar that the big powers ought to model after; thus, they would not meddle in the affairs of the states in the region.
Sayyed Ali Fadlullah also confirmed that China could act as a source of safety and an element of balance in international politics, emphasizing that its relations with the Muslims and the Muslim world should be special, calling for preserving the rights of the minorities in China, including the Muslim minority, for that would fortify the internal Chinese reality and enhance the relations China has with the Muslims throughout the world.
