In his speech at the weekly Cultural Seminar on Wednesday, Apr. 27, Hakeem said, "We fully support the state's establishments, Parliament, government, media and civil society organizations in their positive steps in serving the state and citizens."
He added, "Parliament and government present services to the people to achieve prosperity, which requires genuine cooperation between them and integration in their roles."
Hakeem called for, "Combating corruption in the service of citizens and the country."
He expressed sympathy with citizens of Niniveh, calling on local and central governments to satisfy their legitimate demands and solve their problems.
As for Arab affairs, Hakeem called on the Arab League to adopt the principles of "Strategy of Democratic Change" as a subject on the agenda of next Arab Summit.
