“The US and western countries want to hijack the recent Islamic revolutions,” Iran's Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadegh Larijani said.

“It may take many years for political analysts and scholars to analyze how the recent Islamic revolutions happened with such speed and depth,” the Judiciary Chief said.

“Albeit some of these reasons are so obvious and even at this time, we can guess some factors behind the recent revolutions,” the Grand Ayatollah mentioned.

“Dictatorship and western countries interference in national affairs of these countries can be regarded as one of the main factors which accelerate the process of these revolutions,” he said.

The senior cleric pointed to the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei's remarks and underlined, “one of the reasons behind these uprisings is that governors humiliate people and this humiliation can be another factor.”

Ayatollah Amoli Larijani also added, “People in these countries are Muslims and because of their beliefs and Islamic rules, they want to stand against the cruelty.”

“In a country like Tunisia, Hijab and holding Friday prayers were banned, and we observed that how people held Friday prayers with enthusiasm after the victory of the revolution,” the Judiciary Chief expressed.

“Muslims in these revolution want to stand against world arrogant but they should be careful and do not let western countries hijack their revolutions,” he added.

Ayatollah Amoli Larijani pointed to the pre-revolution era and said, “the US supported the government of Hosni Mubarak and his cruelties for many years , now this country tries to show itself as the supporter of Egyptian people who did not tolerate the cruelty of their previous government.”

“The same story is happening in other Islamic countries and Muslims should be aware more than before because it is a danger and they should not fall for that,” the official concluded.
