Governor of Lattakia Khalil Mashhadiye praised the efforts of the free people participating in convoy, hoping that their efforts for lifting the siege imposed on Gaza will succeed.
For his part, head of the convoy Feroze Mithiborwala affirmed that the convoy shows that Asia is uniting and mobilizing to help break the siege on Gaza and liberating Palestine, lauding Syria's support to the convoy.
Participants in the convoy, hailing from India, Iran and Malaysia, expressed pride in participating in this initiative and affirmed their support for the Palestinian people.
Eight convoy members left on board the ship with the aid, with the remaining members due to travel to al-Arish by plane on Sunday.
