MP Fadlallah presented a group of ideas related to Lebanon's space security in the International Conference on Arab day for Safety and Security in the Siberian Space in Antonine University.
"We have been suffering from violations of our security, whether related to the telecommunications or information sectors, and these violations represent a dangerous "Israeli" assault on Lebanon's sovereignty", MP Fadlallah referred.
Fadlallah stated that the Lebanese government's institutions have exerted efforts to reveal the espionage networks, referring to the role played by the Ministry of Telecommunications and official security forces in revealing those networks.
Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc MP also pointed out the discovery of the of the Sanin and Barouk espionage networks, as a result of the cooperation between the Lebanese government, the army and resistance in Lebanon.
MP Fadlallah referred that this network rolls in the framework of information and telecommunications, adding that it is a dangerous and complicated network, where Lebanese firms are still working on dismantling its system to know how it works.
In the same context, MP Fadlallah considered that the espionage operation, which was revealed in Egypt, is also related to the telecommunications sector, and represents an interference in the national security, not only on the level of one country, but on the level of other countries.
"The assault on the telecommunications system in this case affects Lebanon, Syria and Egypt", MP Hassan Fadlallah clarified.
MP Hassan Fadlallah affirmed that Hizbullah is following up with what is being discussed in this issue, stressing that it is a major issue that should be tackled.
Fadlallah also added that if the Lebanese telecommunications and information sectors are being monitored by enemy countries, this means that the security of Lebanon country is in danger.
Hassan Fadlallah shed the light that Lebanon has witnessed what could such controling achieve, including many assaults against different sectors in Lebanon, in addition to exploiting these sectors to conduct assassinations.
On this level, MP Fadlallah referred that they should conduct suitable measures to attain security for the telecommunication networks, measures which call for joint efforts between the Ministry of Telecommunications and the Parliamentary Telecommunications commission.
