The literary international conference of 'Ghadeer Rain' started today morning (27 Nov.) at the technical engineering faculty of Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz with performance of Christian Lebanese poets

(AhlulBayt News Agency) - According to the news database of Hozeh Honari, the second day of International 'Ghadeer Rain' Conference was held with the presence of Hojatoleslam Zaeri, secretary of the conference, Mousa Bidaj and Habib Ilbeigi – respectively general managers of public relations and international affairs of Hozeh Honari – Christian Lebanese poets and a number of Ahvazi poets. At the beginning of the session, Shakib Ansari, university professor, made his speech.

Then Joseph Hashem, ex-minister and MP of Lebanon and writer of the book 'Alaviyat' about Imam Ali (AS); George Shakour, writer of 'Epic of the Prophet', 'Epic of Ali', and 'Epic of Hussain' which portray the history of Islam; Victor Al0Kelk Arab Iranologist and founder of Persian language major in Christian University of Lebanon; George Zaki Hajj, Lebanese painter and poet; Michael Kaadi, author of a number of books on Imam Ali (AS) and his family; and Raymond Qasis, author of a recent book on the epic of Ashoura are the 6 Lebanese poets attending the international conference of 'Ghadeer Rain' and would read their poems during the meeting.

A number of Ahvazi poets are also present at 'Ghadeer Rain' Conference and would read their eulogies of Imam Ali (AS) during this confab.

Moreover Victor Al-Kelk, Arab Iranologist and founder of Persian language major at Lebanon's Christian University read his eulogy of Imam Ali (AS) and the day of Ghadeer Khom.

Then George Shakour, Christian Lebanese poet read a chapter of his epic of Imam Hussain in this ceremony.

The first International Conference of 'Ghadeer Rain' kicked off Thursday evening (25 Nov.) concurrent with Ghadeer Khom Eid and the presence of Christian Lebanese poets at Soureh Hall of Hozeh Honari of Iran.

The conference has been proposed by the bureau of Awakening Literature of Hozeh Honari and in order to commemorate the historical, divine and humane event of Ghadeer. The first Ghadeer Conference centers on the subject of 'Ghadeer and Resistance'.
