(AhlulBayt News Agency) - The 6th Annual North American recitation and memorization competition has been scheduled to be held on March 11, 12 , and 13, 2011 (for boys), and March 5, 2011 (for girls).
All Participants will be tested based on Tajweed rules and memorization and younger participants may participate in a higher category if they wish.
A participant who has previously received 1st or 2nd place in a recitation category must move up to a higher category.
Consolidation prizes will be awarded to all the finalists in addition to trophies and cash prizes will also be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place contestants from each category.
Participants that reside further than 125 kilometers from Toronto will have the option to complete their pre-test online.
