(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Hasan Yılmaz, a Turk from the city of Bolu, who went to Mecca with his wife for the hajj and was reported missing on the first day of Eid al-Adha, was found near the Kaaba on Tuesday morning.

Yılmaz, who was accompanied on the hajj by his wife Fahriye Yılmaz, had departed as a part of an extra contingent from the Bolu Mufti’s Office but disappeared among the crowds that gathered to throw stones at pillars representing Satan on the first day of Eid.

His son, Sami Yılmaz, said: “Someone else from my father’s group found him near the Kaaba. I have spoken with my father and heard his voice. He is in good health but he is still scared and a bit shocked. I don’t know any details about how he got lost. Because my father and mother went in the last group, they won’t be back in Turkey until Dec. 19.”
