(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The Dar-ol-Quran Center plans to organize a number of Quranic festivals including one for families in the second half of the current Iranian year (ending March 21, 2011).
This is according to the director general of the center’s planning department Davud Takfallah who said that Quranic festivals are also to be held for children and teenagers as well as the youth.
The festivals are held in different cities and provinces and will feature different programs including competitions in Quranic arts, Quran recitation, memorization, Tawasheeh, etc, he said.
Referring to other programs of the center, Mr. Takfallah noted that courses on Nur-ol-Hoda Quran Exegesis as well as Quran interpretation courses based on Hojat-ol-Islam Qara’ati’s style are being held across the country.
All people with any educational background can take part in these courses and they do not have to pass one level to attend the next, he added.
Director general of the center’s planning department went on to say that the Quran interpretation courses will continue for 15 years.
