Talking to IRNA Deputy Secretary General of Jamat-e-Islami Pakistan Dr Fareed Paracha said Israel has been slaughtering innocent people of Gaza and still the world has not come up with a strong reaction against Israel.
The JI leader condemning the role of United Nations (UN) in solving the issues of Muslim Ummah said that the international body has failed to carry out its responsibility as a peace keeping force.
He alleged that the issues pertaining to Muslims have been put in the cold storage and the UN is only forwarding the US agenda.
Dr Fareed Paracha expressing his views said the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) should come up with a strong voice to put pressure on Israel.
He urged the OIC to take a proactive stand to protect the rights of the Palestinians and get effective support of International community against Israeli brutality.
He noted that Palestinians have been deprived of their legitimate rights.
Religious leader said that the statement of Hamas leader on killings of Palestinian resistance fighters should be taken seriously.
He regretted that most of the Muslims leaders are followers of United States and they do not express the sentiments of their people.
“Misery of the Muslims is due to the cooperation of Muslim leaders with anti Islam powers”, said the JI leader.
Dr Fareed Paracha suggested that success of Muslim Ummah lies under their unity. 'People of all Muslim countries should unite to strongly condemn the brutalities of Israel on Palestinians', he added.
He said that there is need to ignite the fervor and enthusiasm of Muslims and they should not compromise on their religious identity at any cost.
In September, Hamas said it had discovered an Israeli-commissioned network of spies and collaborators.
Hamas' Interior Minister Fathi Hamad said that 'Israel targeted police headquarters and 250 martyrs fell and they were affiliated to Hamas and other factions'.
