(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The second annual meeting of directors of Quran institutes in Iraq was held yesterday, October 17, at Khatam-ol-Anbia Hall of the holy shrine of Imam Hussein (AS) in Karbala.
It was organized by the National Center for Quranic Sciences of Iraqi Shia Endowments Office with the motto of “With the Quran and Etrat; A United and Safe Iraq”.
Sadeq Ja’far, member of the organizing committee of the meeting said it was held on the sidelines of the second international festival of Quranic week in Karbala. Besides representatives of Iraqi Quran institutes, there were Quranic delegations from Iran, Egypt, Turkey and Azerbaijan as well as representatives of sources of emulation from the holy city of Najaf.”
The second international festival of Quranic week began on October 17 with the cooperation of representatives of Iraqi president, prime minister and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, representatives from Kurdistan of Iraq and Quranic delegations from some Islamic countries.
