The International Islamic Bank (IIB) has announced its patronage and support for the competition on the memorization of the Holy Quran

Ahlul bayt news Agency - Abna - The International Islamic Bank (IIB) has announced its patronage and support for the competition on the memorization of the Holy Quran to be organized by the Darul Quran (the House of Quran) under the aegis of Qatar’s Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs.

“The competition will enrich our cherished values and make us more committed to our beloved faith. Support for this event is in keeping with IIB’s policy of contributing its mite in every important activity that is dear and important to our beloved country,” said the CEO of IIB, Abdul Basit Ahmed al-Sheibi.

Darul Quran is a private body registered with the ministry. The competition will be the first of its kind since it will be open not for individuals but to families only which have memorized the Holy Quran, said its board chairman Ibrahim al-Ibrahim.
