Ahlul Bayt News Agency, The mastermind of the car bombing in Kut market that occurred on August 3 was arrested, Rapid Reaction Forces major Aziz Latif Al Imara told Alsumaria News.
The arrest was made during a crackdown in Al Noamaniya District upon accurate intelligence, the major added.
The arrested is an army recruit and is now subject to interrogation, Al Imara added.
An employee from the Planning Ministry was wounded due to a bombing in Asia District, southern Baghdad, an informed source from the police said.
