Ahlul Bayt News Agency, The 21st conference on Islamic Banking System started in the Iranian capital Saturday morning with the participation of senior Iranian officials in the fields of banking and economic activities.
Minister of Economy and Financial Affairs Shamsoddin Hosseini and Governor of the Central Bank of Iran Mahmoud Bahmani were also present in the opening session of the two-day conference.
The gathering is to discuss major banking issues including promotion of a usury-free banking system as well as a pricing system to calculate banks’ interest rate without usury.
