3 disabled Palestinians of 22 Day Gaza War in meeting with 3 Iranian disabled athletes at Bawaba Sports Complex of Damascus asked for exchanging experience with Iranian disabled veterans.

Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA.ir), According to Iran News Agency, correspondent in Damascus, the meeting was hosted by the Charity Fund in Favor of the Palestinian Nation in the presence of that fund’s head Sheikh Abu Saleh and the members of the charity fund.

Sheikh Abu Saleh said that the objectives of sponsoring the meeting were establishment of direct contacts between the Iranian and the Palestinian disabled veterans, holding dialogues, and taking advantage of the experience of the Iranian disabled veterans in such fields as sports.

He added, “We also wish everyone to know that physical handicap is not only no barrier for the disabled people, but can also become an incentive for encouraging them to provide better living conditions for themselves, particularly since the Iranian disabled veterans have proved this in practice.”

The head of the Iranian sports delegation Hassan Kamalifard, too, elaborating on the objectives of this trip to Syria, said, “I, my accompanying sports delegation and the Iranian Welfare Organization are ready for assisting the Palestinian disabled people.”
