Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA.ir), The diplomatic drone attacks from Washington have escalated after the first May fake effort at Time Square by an American citizen of Pakistan origin.
The Washington Post has now published a very serious threat supported by cold exercises on computer to target Pakistan through air strikes and even ground operations by U.S. Special Forces.
“This threat must be taken seriously and it is unexplainable why the Pakistan Government has not reacted strongly to these outrageous outbursts”, Senator Prof. Khurshid Ahmad, deputy Jamaat chief said.
Obama Administration, according to Prof. Khurshid, is behaving like the Bush administration and the Pakistani nation must rise to protect its independence, sovereignty and honour. Parliament must take serious note of this threat and counter these unfriendly policies of the US leadership.
“This is the time”, Prof. Khurshid Ahmad emphasized, “to bring about fundamental changes in our foreign policy and our participation in the so-called US war on terror.” According to Prof. Khurshid, Parliament had unanimously demanded that in its 22nd October 2008 Resolution but the Government has totally failed to implement it. In fact it has violated this clear direction of the Parliament.
Prof. Khurshid has also appealed to all political and religious forces to rise to the occasion and put pressure on the government to change its policy and get out of this quagmire in which Musharraf had put Pakistan. It is unfortunate that the present Government has continued Musharraf Policies with increased vigour. “The only option left is for the Nation to stand up to protect its independence and vital interests”, he concluded.
