Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA.ir), According to Al Shargh newspaper the competition began on May 14 and 1750 participants competed in the categories of memorization, Tarteel and Tajweed of the holy Quran.
Ahmad Isa Al- Mesravi, head of the jury panel of the competition said that only 25 out of 1750 competitors made it to the final stage.
The closing ceremony was held with the presence of Ahamd bin Abdollah Almary, Qatar’s Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs.
The three top winners will be announced and awarded in a separate ceremony on June 1.
