AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Iraq's Popular Mobilization Forces announced that convictions of 15 years in prison have been issued for four members of the terrorist ISIS organization.
According to the official Iraqi News Agency (INA), the organization stated in a statement, "The special court of the Popular Mobilization Forces, after completing all legal procedures and interrogations, issued a 15-year imprisonment sentence for four ISIS terrorist members."
These individuals had previously been arrested by the Investigation and Preventive Security Directorate affiliated with the General Directorate of Security and Discipline of the Popular Mobilization Forces.
The statement continued, "The operation to arrest these convicts was carried out based on precise intelligence reports and intensive field efforts, which led to the accurate identification of their location and their legal arrest."
Meanwhile, investigations revealed that these individuals were affiliated with the so-called "Fallujah Province" sector of the terrorist ISIS organization, and after the completion of interrogations, their case was referred to the special court of the Popular Mobilization Forces, which, based on legal provisions, issued a ruling of 15 years in prison for each of them.
The General Directorate of Security and Discipline of the Popular Mobilization Forces concluded the statement by emphasizing its commitment to continuing its security and intelligence duties, pursuing terrorist elements and sleeper cells, and bringing them to justice with the aim of consolidating security, stability, and protecting citizens.
