Security forces seized on Monday four explosive belts in western Anbar, according to Anbar’s police chief.
“The forces found the belts inside a deserted house in al-Mohamadiyat region to the east of Haditha district, western Anbar,” General Bahaa al-Karkhi told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
“The forces also found in the same location a list of names of a number of officers and policemen who were to be killed by gunmen,” he added, pointing out that the operation was launched in light of intelligence information.
