The Iranian Army has announced a new wave of retaliatory drone strikes targeting Israeli petrochemical industries, and US military facilities and equipment in Kuwait.
In its latest statement on Sunday evening, the Army said the attacks were conducted in response to "the crimes of American-Zionist enemies," following the successful integration of the air defense network and the destruction of enemy aircraft last night.
It said that the drones were directed at petrochemical industries, oil byproduct storage tanks, and underground emergency fuel reserves in the south of the Israeli-occupied lands near Dimona, which played a crucial role in ensuring the regime's energy needs.
According to the statement, the US military base in Bubyan, Kuwait, was also targeted as it was one of the key centers of US Central Command in the region after another base in the Arab country sustained major damage during earlier drone attacks.
The targeted warehouses in this base have held ammunition, missile systems such as HIMARS, as well as communication and surveillance facilities for American terrorist forces, it added.
