Pres. Pezeshkian slams Trump’s threatening remarks against Iranian nation

President Masoud Pezeshkian has strongly criticized US President Donald Trump’s recent provocative and threatening remarks against the Iranian nation.

President Masoud Pezeshkian has strongly criticized US President Donald Trump’s recent provocative and threatening remarks against the Iranian nation.

“Does threatening to send an entire nation back to the Stone Age mean anything other than a massive war crime? This was the question I asked my Finnish counterpart, who is a jurist,” President Pezeshkian wrote in a post on his X account on Friday.

“History is full of those who paid a heavy price for their silence in the face of criminals,” President Pezeshkian stressed.

“The biggest bridge in Iran comes tumbling down, never to be used again,” Trump posted on the Truth Social website, adding that there would be “much more to follow” if a settlement was not reached.

In another post, he once again threatened Iran’s civilian infrastructures, saying that the US “hasn’t even started destroying what’s left in Iran.”

He also said that the US was going to bomb Iran’s bridges and electric power plants.

During the US-Israeli attack on the B1 bridge in Karaj, at least eight citizens, including residents, passing travelers were martyred, and 95 others were injured.
