AhlulBayt News Agency: Iran’s Ambassador to Madrid Reza Zabib said Iran will respond to any aggression and that any reaction will be strictly within the framework of legitimate self-defense and in accordance with the United Nations Charter.
According to Spanish media, speaking in a press conference at Iran's embassy in Spain, Zabib warned that Spain must refrain from allowing the use of the Rota and Moron bases to support fighter jets attacking Iran.
This message is not specific to Spain but is directed at all countries that participate in any way in the illegal US-Israeli aggression against Iran, he warned.
Tehran was not the initiator of military action and that any reaction would be strictly within the framework of legitimate defense and in accordance with the United Nations Charter, he stated.
Zabib also accused the US and Israel of sabotaging the negotiation process mediated by Oman and warned that if international law is ignored, the world will face the law of the jungle and the spread of conflicts.
