AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and a member of the Assembly of Leadership Experts, issued a condolence message on the martyrdom of the Grand Source of Emulation and Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
In his message, he said, “The oppressed and free people of the world are mourning the loss of a dignitary who spent his life defending justice, human dignity, and the oppressed, and fighting against oppression, tyranny, and colonialism. He ultimately, by the most evil and bloodthirsty front in history – which has sacrificed human and humanity, God, and faith on the altar of its crimes – attained the great honor of martyrdom in the way of God and departed to meet his Lord with a peaceful and assured soul."
Ayatollah Ramazani added, “Grand Ayatollah Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and Resistance in the region and the world, and a contemporary historical figure, was a knowledgeable, healing individual, a steadfast fighter for achieving freedom, justice, and human dignity, and a learned and wise scholar, mastering the knowledge of the Thaqalayn. His vast knowledge encompassed all aspects of individual, social, governmental, and global life. He was a leader who stood firm against the arrogant and Zionist forces of America with his wisdom, firmness, stability, and perseverance, symbolizing the struggle of all Islam against all disbelief. Today, he has concluded his fruitful and blessed life with martyrdom in the way of God, which was his eternal aspiration, with a beautiful and pleasant ending.”
The Secretary-General of the Assembly continued, “With a heart full of sorrow, as if the heavens have been brought to earth, and a spirit that has fallen into turmoil due to the loss of the captain of the ship of guidance, I offer my condolences to all Muslims around the world, followers of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) school of thought, and the proud people of Iran and the West Asia region, on the martyrdom of this wise and elderly leader, a high-ranking Shia cleric, and a unique leader of the contemporary world, the lord of the martyrs of the Islamic Revolution, the hope and supporter of the oppressed and just causes of the world, and most importantly, the ideal of Palestine – the central issue of the Islamic Ummah and humanity – the captain of the ship of revolution, unity, resistance, and Islamic awakening.”
He also called on everyone “in these difficult circumstances, to fight against oppression, arrogance, and occupation,” so that “we can achieve the ideal of the oppressed and reach a glorious government (of Imam Mahdi (a.s.)) for the Muslims of the world.”
He concluded by stating that “we are certain and firmly believe that God is with the righteous,” saying, “Although the great loss of his departure has burned our hearts, we have faith in God’s promise. The flag of this movement will continue to fly high, carried on the shoulders of the graduates of the enlightening and civilization-building school of Imam Khomeini and Imam Khamenei, until the ground is prepared for the Reappearance of the savior of the world, God willing. I ask God Almighty to grant the late leader a high rank and to grant the Islamic nation and the oppressed people of the world great patience.”
