AhlulBayt News Agency: The political bureau of Yemen’s Ansarallah movement has strongly condemned Israel’s deadly aggression against innocent civilians in Lebanon’s Bekaa region, calling it a flagrant violation of all human values and international charters and conventions.
In a statement cited by Al-Manar, Ansarullah said the “horrific crime” not only shed the blood of innocent Lebanese people and violated the country’s sovereignty, but also sought to impose new equations linked to the so-called “Greater Israel” and a New Middle East plot.
The movement expressed full solidarity with the Lebanese people in confronting the crimes of the Israeli regime, “which enjoys US and Western support.”
It offered condolences to the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to the wounded, while affirming the legitimate right of the Lebanese government to deliver a “decisive response and abandon policies of submission” to foreign demands.
Ansarallah also condemned the attack on the Palestinian camp of Ain al-Hilweh in southern Lebanon, describing it as part of a displacement scheme and expansionist agenda.
According to Lebanon’s Health Ministry, at least 10 people were killed and 24 injured, including three children, in Israel’s Friday night airstrikes on the Bekaa region.
